Description
For representatives:
“We need our representatives to be prepared more when they visit a customer. Questions like ‘When was the last time this customer was visited and which agreements were made at the time?’ and ‘Is this customer overdue with payments or are there still orders which need to be delivered?’. We want a finished customer visit to be registered, as well as the agreements that were made during that visit. The way we work now – giving our administration a call from the car with questions like these – is not a viable way of working and should be a thing of the past. This way of doing business was okay 5 years ago, we had fewer external service employees then.”
For service mechanics:
“Sometimes it takes several weeks before all service receipts are turned in and we can start the billing process. And we didn’t even mention the problem of checking whether or not all used materials and hours of service are filled out on the service receipt. It would be great if mechanics could see for themselves during emergency service calls which equipment is on location and when this equipment has last been serviced.”
For warehouse and production staff:
“We want to be able to see which materials are debited at any moment of the day, not just at the end of the day or the next day. Incoming goods should be processed immediately. Sometimes customers are awaiting their ordered goods, or production is halted because goods aren’t processed yet. I want to know immediately when goods are delivered at the warehouse, I don’t want to go see for myself all the time if the receipt has been processed yet. Swift processing is key with everything, because we want to have as little stock as possible. At the same time, we don’t want to tell a customer ‘no’ or be unable to find a stocked product, even though it’s there.”
