Sumire is an indie narrative adventure, featuring a one-day journey through a picturesque Japanese village.
In this enchanted place, a disenchanted girl named Sumire meets a mischievous spirit who makes her a deal to fulfill her deepest wish.
But in order to see this wish come true, she must complete a series of tasks in return, before night falls and this special day reaches its end.
・Explore through a variety of lush, beautiful environments rendered in a painterly style.
・Discover collectibles, bonus items, tests of skill, and other challenges -- some hidden, some not.
・A series of quests both big and small, given by charming forest creatures, quirky townspeople, and Sumire's own heartfelt needs. Take or refuse them, but be wary: as the day progresses, you may never get the same chance again.
・A one day time limit. With the sky changing from the promise of morning to the soft twilight, all choices are finished when the sky turns to violet.
Along the way Sumire will chase her dreams, face her regrets, and meet a variety of interesting characters, such as:
・Chie, once her best friend, now the meanest of the Mean Girls.
・Loveable Bo, the bullied kid who has a secret wish and games to create.
・Kenji, the golden boy who isn’t ready to face the future.
・And many more, including the lonely Teaman, the Onsen Lady with her shadowy past, the Jizo statue on its vigil by the cold stream, the strange denizens of the Magic Garden, and the mischievous Flower that shows her how special the world can be.
Journey into the mystical world of Sumire, where choices matter and your day will never be the same again.
