Die App wurde von der Suchtfachklinik Zürich in Kollaboration mit der Berner Fachhochschule entwickelt und ist komplett kostenlos und werbefrei.

Aus therapeutischer Sicht verfolgt die App vornehmlich das Ziel, die Selbstwahrnehmung (Craving, Anspannungen, Emotionen) zu schulen und nützliche Strategien zur Selbstregulierung anzuwenden. Zahlreiche Tools und Funktionen unterstützen die Nutzerinnen und Nutzer im Umgang mit dem Substanzverlangen. Craving und Konsumdrang lassen sich ebenso erfassen wie die eigene Anspannung sowie spezifische Emotionen. Über Tagebucheinträge lassen sich Entwicklungen und Fortschritte im Behandlungsprozess nachvollziehen. Zudem bietet die App wertvolle Tipps und Übungen zum Umgang mit Craving und Anspannung sowie unterstützende Anleitungen zu Achtsamkeitsübungen und Entspannungsmeditationen.
SFK MindCare ist zwar primär auf Patientinnen und Patienten der Suchtfachklinik ausgerichtet, kann jedoch jedem und jeder Betroffenen einer Abhängigkeitserkrankung eine wertvolle Hilfe sein.
WAS DIE APP NICHT KANN
Natürlich kann und darf eine App den menschlichen Kontakt nicht ersetzen. Die persönliche Betreuung und die individuelle Behandlung sind unvermindert zentral. Aber die App kann eine willkommene Ergänzung sein und stellt für Betroffene ein zweckdienliches Instrument zur Selbstkontrolle, Selbstregulation und Selbstwahrnehmung dar.
