See (and graph!) exact temperatures throughout your food while it cooks. Know exactly when it will be done. When used with the Combustion Display or Booster, the app extends the signal strength (max range) of the Predictive Thermometer an additional 330ft (100m). View and graph core, surface, and ambient temps in real time.

Works with all kinds of foods and most cooking appliances - BBQ smokers, ovens, ranges, grills, and more - indoors and out.

The wireless Predictive Thermometer was built to answer a simple but important question: when will my food be ready? Combustion’s Predictive Engine estimates exactly when that will be, using the data from 8 onboard sensors (the most of any cooking thermometer).

This app allows you to set your target doneness and shows the prediction, along with the three most important temperature readings: core (internal temp), surface temp (true cooking temp), and ambient temp (the air around your food).

Use this app to update firmware on your wireless Predictive Thermometer, Display, and Booster. Firmware updates improve core functions including predictions, extending battery life, and add new hardware functions.

Graph your food’s temperatures in real-time! See exactly how heat moves through your food. Understand how surface temps translate to core (internal) temps and see how the oven temp you set is not the same as the food is actually experiencing (it may shock you!). The Combustion Inc app puts all that knowledge in your hands, for better results every time you cook.

You can cook using just the app and a Predictive Thermometer. But if you also have a Combustion Display or Booster, the app uses that as a signal repeater. Keep an eye on cooking temps from across the house or across the park. That signal boost comes in especially handy when the thermometer is inside something radio-resistant, like a heavy metal grill or smoker.

The Predictive Thermometer has an array of 8 sensors and compares temperatures to always locate the lowest internal temp. We call that TrueCore and it means you never measure the wrong spot! Even when the food you’re cooking is small (like a filet) or irregular (like a whole chicken), your food won’t ever end up undercooked or raw in the middle.
