The program relies on encrypted communication, using the WPA 2 PSK security standard. Furthermore, you will be able to schedule automatic time-out, in order to protect your PC from unwanted access.

I've downloaded the app as a friend was here, he has an iPhone 4 and could connect to my PC without problems. It all works very well. Ben 
Rated 5 out of 5 stars on 2012-07-30 03:50:38 I just spent some days with my family in the Pays Basques near the french/spanish border, and used the Hotspot App to share my mobile or Hotel WLAN connection with my family. In total, we have three Amazon Kindles (yes!), three Smartphones and one Laptop. With the Hotspot App, it's easy and convenient to provide WLAN connectivity to all of them.
Especially, the French hotels require a complicated registration process in the browser for getting access to the WLAN (I think this is Sarkozy trying to fight illegal downloads).
