Advertisement ▼ DtPad is a useful application that was designed in order to help you quickly write and edit texts, create and modify HTML or XML documents and many more.
This utility comes with a powerful set of tools and features that include session management functionality, advanced search capabilities and tabbed interface.
FEATURES:
· A new built-in editor for the management of CSV files, including the edit of cells, deleting and adding new rows, replacement of delimiter character and much more (issue #1137)
· The limit of rows allowed before the decommissioning of their side panel has been raised (new default: 1.000) (issue #1155, only partially solved)
· Pressing CTRL+TAB now DtPad opens a screen that shows the list of opened tabs (issue #1143)
· Note mode improvement, now able to handle multiple tabs and customizable in size of opening
· Tracking of DtPad updates (about the user is stored only its IP at the time of the request)
· Management of web addresses into favourites (along with sessions and files)
· The font used by the notes and the calculator is now fit to the main editing area
· DtPad Updater now informs the user about the contents of the update, before its execution

New Release
- Regular expressions usage inside the search and replace panel
- Introduction of a new, particular, view mode: relax (SHIFT+F11), to forget everything and concentrate only on text
- Tab switching (CTRL+TAB) now can use keyboard's shortcuts or mouse clicks (option inside the settings window, "Tab" panel)
- Program configuration now could be resetted to default value from the settings window
- Drag and drop a folder into text editing are to open at once all the files of the top of it (no subfolders)
- Search panel now opens and focus with CTRL+F combo and close itself pressing ESC inside one of its field, or using the appropriate button (it should helps who works using keyboard shortcuts and who need to execute multiple searches)
- Improved security: Dropbox access token is stored inside the password encrypted file and is no more visible into the application config
- Improvement of feature "View - Show File In Browser", and fixing of the passing of parameters to the browser
