Advertisement ▼ is a full function navigation app that includes voice turn-by-turn directions, points of interest search, restaurant listings, shopping guide, and reviews on various businesses. Voice recognition is possible for some searches.
While numerous additional functions are planned, this 1.2 version has the following additional functions:
(1) ShowMeTheWay includes a “Beacon†transmission function that can show your friends and loved ones where you are. The app does not have to be running for the Beacon function to work.
(2) A compass page is now included.
(3) previous queries are remembered so you don't have to retype them when using them again.
Your friends can track you from another phone using “RealTimeSpy†or from a PC or MAC by going to http://www.deanblakely.com/RealTimeViewer.aspx.
Parents may find this a reason to buy their children a Windows Phone so they can always be aware of their whereabouts.
