O MedSUS é um aplicativo disponibilizado pelo Ministério da Saúde e que reúne informações sobre os medicamentos constantes na Relação Nacional de Medicamentos Essenciais (Rename) do Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS).
O objetivo do MedSUS é facilitar o acesso às informações sobre medicamentos pelos profissionais de saúde e cidadãos, visando à promoção do uso racional de medicamentos.
- FTN e Rename Digitais
As informações são provenientes das monografias do Formulário Terapêutico Nacional (FTN), obra de referência que acompanha a Rename e que subsidia a prescrição, a dispensação e o uso racional dos medicamentos.
- Informações científicas de qualidade
As monografias possuem diversas fontes de informação de elevado crédito baseadas em evidências, como os formulários de medicamentos da OMS, as diretrizes clínicas do Ministério da Saúde, além de bases de dados internacionais.
- Informações completas
O aplicativo contém informações do medicamento como princípio ativo, apresentação, indicação de uso e esquemas de administração, reações adversas, interações medicamentosas, entre tantas outras.
- Atualizações constantes
As monografias dos medicamentos serão atualizadas sempre que o aplicativo for aberto. Também serão exibidas as inclusões e exclusões de medicamentos pelo SUS.
